City of Southlake

Project Information:

• In anticipation of the Texas Department of Transportation's (TxDOT) construction of the deceleration lanes along FM 1709, the City of Southlake is responsible for the relocation of any water and sanitary sewer lines that are in conflict with the proposed deceleration lanes.

What to expect in the next six months:

• Construction began Summer 2009.
• Construction will be limited to one location at a time until relocation of the utilities at that location is fully complete.
• Traffic flow may be altered with the closure of one lane of traffic on FM 1709 during working hours.
• Electronic message boards and traffic control will be set up by the contractor prior to closing a lane of traffic.
