  • PROGRAMS FOR RESIDENTS
    The Community Services Department offers numerous programs such as the Southlake Street Tree program, leaf recycling program, Christmas tree recycling program and others. All Southlake residents are encouraged to participate. 
     
  • COMMUNITY GROUPS: The Community Services Department and the City of Southlake partner with numerous community groups in the community. Visit the  community groups page for a complete list. 
     

VISION STATEMENT

The Community Services Department will strive to meet the highest forms of parks, recreation, library and community service standards to ensure quality, positive experiences for the citizens of Southlake. The Department will be proactive and innovative in its efforts to partner with community groups and volunteers in order to cultivate an atmosphere of cooperation while seeking opportunities to enhance service levels. The Department seeks to provide a parks system that exceeds the expectations of its patrons through manicured parks and preserved open spaces as well as educational and recreational opportunities that contribute to the growth of its patrons. 
 

MISSION

It is the mission of the Community Services Department to provide and support abundant, safe and well-maintained park land and trails; offer progressive social and cultural opportunities; provide books, materials and services to residents in their pursuit of information; and implement recreational and educational programs that collectively enrich the lives of all patrons.
